Over the past 25 years, the Danish Superliga has developed
significantly, both in terms of sports and economics. The Superliga
now boasts professional management, modern stadiums, and a
spectator increase of over 50% for most clubs. Denmark’s leading club,
which plays at the national stadium, PARKEN, now attracts around
30,000 spectators to their matches. Additionally, Danish clubs have
made their mark in European competitions. In 2024, the Superliga can
reasonably be compared to the Belgian and Dutch leagues.
