Welcome to our Global Guide to Football Transfers 2025.
Football is a global marketplace. Players, managers, agents and
even owners now operate across multiple jurisdictions. What we
hope to showcase with this Guide is that brilliant opportunities
exist beyond the familiar leagues. We have chosen 22 countries
from all corners of the world for this updated edition, and have
introduced eight women’s leagues too.

In the past two years, some of the biggest deals have come from
the Middle East and that remains an area of particular interest to
players of all ages. Some of the leagues in the Far East are also
becoming increasingly attractive to players and managers
looking for a high standard of play, financial stability and
meaningful competition.
A move abroad is a huge challenge at any stage of life. This
Guide will hopefully provide players, agents and clubs with the
information needed to weigh up their options when it comes to
international transfers.
This is a resource we want to share far and wide, and to add to
each year. We hope you find it useful, and welcome your
feedback, your insight from personal experience, and your
