Important Financial Considerations
The top tax rate in France is 45%, and with various charges on a
player9s salary, taxes are a significant consideration for those moving
to the country.
Players in France have gross contracts but are paid on a net basis,
meaning applicable taxes are deducted from their salaries before
payment.
The likelihood of late or unpaid salaries is minimal; players typically
receive their salaries on the same date each month, and delays are
rare.
Playing in France has been a new kind of challenge for
me, and I’m enjoying every bit of it. The focus on tactics
and technique in Ligue 1 has pushed me to sharpen my
game, and the atmosphere from the fans is always
electric. It’s been great to experience the culture here,
both on and off the pitch.

I really like and enjoy being in France, because of the
culture, the variety of things to do, eat and see. In Ligue 1,
all teams are tough to play against, which brings only the
best out of me as a player and makes you want more. In
Le Havre, the fans are amazing. Every match is packed,
and the atmosphere is top.
